Force Production Deploys Vero VX System for Sold-Out Skatepark Hip Hop Event

Force Production delivered a powerful Vero VX system for a sold-out hip hop and grime event at one of Prague’s most iconic inner-city skate parks. The show, produced by AV Promo Events, featured local rapper Smack One and London-based grime artist P Money, drawing a capacity 2,000 strong crowd.
AV Pro Events approached Force Production as sound system supplier following previous successful collaborations. A site survey quickly revealed a key challenge: the venue offered no structural points for flying the system. “We looked at the venue and there was no way to hang anything, so we ground-stacked the VX,” explained Force Production’s Kevin Dobson.

Force Production deployed ground-stacked six per side Vero VX arrays - positioned widely apart for a spacious stereo image - with two Evo 2 per side for front fill and eight F124 in a broad-side configuration. The system provided impactful coverage across the audience area, with ample low-frequency energy reaching fans positioned on the surrounding ramps and elevated structures.
For DJ monitoring, Force Production supplied BR118.2 with PSM18. Six PSM12 across the stage front delivered monitoring for the MCs. Production management was led by Pavel Kahl, with Alex Limburg on FOH mixing duties.
“The system worked perfectly,” said Dobson. “This type of event demonstrates just how versatile Vero VX is, handling a very unusual deployment with ease. Evo 2 is the perfect sonic companion.”
