The mantra at the Ideal Bar inside VEGA in Copenhagen is a simple one: “Don’t be loud. Be good.” With a capacity of 200, the venue embodies this in every way. While it is already an intimate space, that intimacy is augmented by a unique audio design that delivers a live experience unlike any other venue in the world, making its simple mantra less an instruction and more a philosophy.

One of Denmark’s most popular music venues, VEGA was established in September 1996 and has three live spaces, holds around 350 concerts, and plays host to around a quarter of a million guests every year. Recognising that the live music industry needs to adapt to the increasing digital consumption of music, it was the perfect venue for the Danish government's Arts Foundation to task with the exploration of brand new formats for live shows.

Now boasting a full 9.1.6 immersive Funktion-One environment, Ideal Bar at VEGA was redesigned to provide something unique.
